Magnetic Picture Board - Handyman - Each Set

The Handyman Magnetic Picture Board is a creative reminiscence activity designed for people living with mid to late stage dementia. Beautifully illustrated, handyman-themed magnetic pieces can be placed anywhere on the background board to create a comforting scene, making it an ideal jigsaw puzzle alternative for anyone who finds it difficult to pick up puzzle pieces and place them in the correct position.

There is no right or wrong way to enjoy this activity, so it can easily be adapted to suit each person. The familiar images can trigger cherished memories and encourage reminiscing and storytelling about past experiences, helping to foster connection and conversation. Because the magnetic format allows for self-directed use, residents can arrange the pictures at their own pace and personalise the scene to reflect their own memories, supporting independence and self-expression.

The set includes a magnetic background board, a sheet of 18 punch-out magnetic pieces and a cardboard storage box. The board and pieces are plastic and wipeable, and the board measures 35 x 24cm.
